St. John's Outpatient Physical & Occupational Therapy
The Team Approach to Rehabilitation
Team Communication
We work closely with everyone involved in a worker's rehabilitation
to ensure a smooth transition from therapy to the work site. The
physician, employer, rehabilitation counselor and insurance company are kept informed of the
patient's progress.
Team Leaders
Our staff is made up of licensed physical and occupational therapists who maintain regular communication with the
patient, physician and employer. These professionals use state-of-the-art technology to enhance our rehabilitation and injury prevention techniques.
The Scoreboard
A win-win situation: Traditional physical therapy can be a long, inefficient and costly process. Without a carefully developed
rehabilitation plan, many workers never regain their full potential; others return too quickly and re-injure
themselves. Employers lose a most valuable asset; a trained and experienced employee.
Our program takes workers' compensation rehab a step beyond traditional therapy. Our occupational medicine specialists take an interdisciplinary approach. Relevant behavioral, physical and vocational factors are addressed in a simulated work environment to safely increase a
patient's capabilities.
