Industrial Rehabilitation
Return To Work Program
Ergonomics
A functional job-demand oriented work evaluation, this analysis can be requested by an employer with the goal of gaining valuable therapist suggestions and solutions to work-related musculoskeletal disorders. With employers' input, the analysis can be recorded in the form of a functional job-demand job description.
With employer-therapist cooperation, other injury prevention actions can be taken. As a basis for employee injury prevention education, back injury prevention programs can be customized to a specific work group. Upper extremity cumulative trauma education can be coupled with ergonomic training to assist workers in becoming an integral part of the company sponsored work hazard reduction program. OSHA directives can be specifically addressed.
