  • 2010 King & Queen of Hearts Winner and Nominees  - The 20th annual King and Queen of Hearts celebration was held at Hammons Heart Institute earlier this month. This event recognizes individuals who have made substantial and inspiring life changes to avoid additional heart problems.
  • Rob Farquar - Rob experienced a heart attack while enjoying his regular Sunday afternoon basketball game with friends.  Because of St. Johns' quick treatment and team approach, Rob is in better shape than before his heart attack.
  • Beverly Brake - "The pain started in my chest and quickly spread throughout my upper body. At St. John’s they told me it was a heart attack. I underwent an immediate angioplasty to open two blockages in my artery and a blood clot. Thanks to St. John’s, I’ve recovered completely and feel wonderful now."
