Approximately 17 million people in the United States, or 6.2 percent of
the population, have diabetes. While an estimated 11. 1 million have been
diagnosed, unfortunately, 5.9 million are unaware that they have the
disease. Overall, the risk for death among people with diabetes is about
twice that of people without diabetes. St. John's provides you with
a comprehensive approach to the prevention, treatment and management of
diabetes.
