1,800 community members and representatives from Springfield area businesses will take part in the Springfield HEART Walk beginning at 10 AM on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Kickapoo High School, corner of Jefferson St and Primrose. The Heart Walk educates the Springfield area of the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases and stroke and what we can do to prevent it. FUnds rasied support lcoal medical research and educational programs of the American Heart Association.
