participating provider for CIGNA?

Why can I not find St. John's providers listed on
the CIGNA website?
CIGNA is diligently working to get all of the St. John's providers

I am currently under treatment from a
provider that will no longer be participating with CIGNA. Do I need to
find a St. John's physician?
You
should have received a letter from CIGNA explaining their policy on
transitioning care to another provider. CIGNA has provided the
information below, but it is always best to contact CIGNA directly to
discuss your specific situation.
Per CIGNA from the
letter sent to members,
"If you are undergoing a course of treatment, it may be possible for you
to continue to receive care from your current physician for a specified
time, usually up to 90 days. This time period may be extended if
required by state law. Some examples of acute conditions that may
qualify for continuing care include: recent major surgeries within the
last 6-8 weeks; transplant candidacy; radiation of chemotherapy
treatment for cancer; pregnancy in the 2nd or 3rd trimester. Other
conditions may also be eligible for continuing care under state law. To
receive authorization for continuing care, your physician must submit a
Continuity of Care Request Form within 15 business days of receipt of
this letter (unless state law differs) to CIGNA HealthCare for
approval. Go online to
www.cigna.com to print out a continuity of Care Request Form for
your doctor to complete or call us at the toll-free number on your CIGNA
HealthCare ID card to obtain a copy of the form. Upon review of this
request, CIGNA HealthCare will notify you in writing of its decision."
I need a copy of my current medical records sent
to my new St. John’s physician. How do I do that?
Contact your current physician to request a transfer of medical records.
This process will likely include completing a form prior to the
transfer. Be ready to include your St. John’s physician’s name and
address. You can find that information on stjohns.com by clicking
here.
