Hospitalists

Should you require a hospital stay, our newly remodeled inpatient area includes semi-private rooms, two private rooms, plus isolation (for those with contagious diseases) and reverse isolation (for those with severely compromised immune systems).

Medical/Surgical Unit

This unit provides excellent observation, acute and long term care to our patients. We have an experienced nursing staff certified in Advanced Cardiac and/or Pediatric Life Support. Semi-private, private and specialty care rooms are available.

Swing Bed

Our hospital offers short-term skilled care through a Swing Bed Program.  This option is provided to all Medicare and Medicare + Choice patients who need short-term skilled care after a qualifying acute-care hospital stay. The physician decides the patient’s medical necessity and length of stay. There are specific requirements to participate in this program.

Hospitalist Program

Hospitalists are physicians who are dedicated to caring for and coordinating specialty care for hospitalized patients.

Cassville's hospitalist program employs three board-certified physicians providing care to patients while they are in the hospital. The hospitalist serves as the patient’s primary physician during the course of their hospital stay. The patient’s regular physician is kept informed about the treatment their patient receives at the hospital and any follow-up care needed upon discharge. Once the patient leaves the hospital, the primary physician resumes responsibility for the patient's care.
