  • Ranked No. 1 in Verispan’s 100 Top Integrated Health Systems survey, achieving top 20 status for the sixth year.
  • Selected for the 2006-2007 Consumer Choice Award by National Research Corporation (NRC) based on composite scores of quality and image ratings.
  • Received several national quality awards.

St. John’s Clinic
Physician clinic organization comprised of approximately 460 employed physicians, 90 mid-level providers and 1,800 workers, with 73 locations throughout southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas.

  • Ranked first in the nation in patient satisfaction among large clinics evaluated by Press Ganey for two quarters.
  • Presented the St. John’s Clinic’s turnaround story and integrated delivery system structure at the Medical Group Management Association annual conference.
  • Established a radiation oncology program.

Springfield, Missouri

866-bed general acute care hospital  

  • Developed a neuroscience service program which consists of five neurosurgeons, including the region’s only pediatric neurosurgeon and the area’s only CyberKnife radiosurgery cancer treatment.

  • Achieved five-year accreditation of medical and radiation oncology services program by American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

  • Continued construction of patient tower with completion planned for December 2007.
  • Implemented a 64-slice CT unit.
  • Provided the area’s only specialized burn unit, cochlear implant surgery program, and cornea transplant services.

St. John’s Hospital-Lebanon
Lebanon, Missouri

48-bed general acute care hospital 

  • Received a substantial donation from the Curry family to help build the new cancer center, which will be named in their honor.
  • Treated cancer patients in new cancer clinic until new cancer center is completed in 2008.

 

St. John’s Hospital-Aurora
Aurora, Missouri

25-bed critical access hospital
 

  • Achieved JCAHO accreditation.

 

St. John’s Hospital-Cassville
Cassville, Missouri

18-bed critical access hospital
 

  • Achieved JCAHO accreditation.
  • Received American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehab Certification.

St. John’s Hospital-Berryville
Berryville, Arkansas

25-bed critical access hospital

  • Became a smoke-free campus and extended the ban to smokeless tobacco.


St. John’s-St. Francis Hospital
Mountain View, Missouri

25-bed critical access hospital
 

  • Laboratory earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for demonstrating commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Renovated facility interior and exterior.

St. John’s Health Plans
Largest managed care provider in the region, with more than 280,000 covered lives

  • Renewed all major direct employer contracts to new multi-year agreements.
  • Completed second performance year of the CMS Physician Group Practice Demonstration Project with improvements in each of the 10 diabetic quality measures.
