The first major initiative of the St. John’s-Lebanon Heritage Foundation is now complete. The St. John’s Curry Cancer Center received its first patient Feb. 13.

Thelma Dame of Lebanon is currently receiving treatment for lung cancer and was excited about being the first to use the center. “The facilities I have utilized at St. John’s have been a tremendous help to me,” says Dame. “The Curry Cancer Center is a great addition to this community.”

The 3,000-square-foot Curry Cancer Center features seven treatment chair areas, exam rooms and a private courtyard garden for patients and families. A dedicated entrance allows for convenient drive-up access to the building for patients as well as a designated 15-car patient parking area. Two oncologists, four registered nurses, two medical assistants and two office staff members staff the center.

Together, we can build a healthier future for our community!
